What if your candidates want more digital self-service, recruiters are overloaded with manual work and different recruitment applications don’t work together optimally? This Belgian HR service provider found a solution with Minggo that solves these three challenges in one.
The scarcity of the job market is causing recruitment agencies to be buried with work and barely find recruiters themselves. Our client, a Belgian HR service provider with 40 offices in the Benelux, therefore wanted to use its recruiters more efficiently. Almost all administrative tasks, in total accounting for 25% of the recruiters’ total working time, had to be taken over with technology.
“It is unheard of that these days, our recruiters still have to call a candidate to schedule an interview or that candidates still have to communicate their availability by e-mail. This wastes everyone’s time tremendously.” Our client was therefore looking for ways to digitize profile enrichment, matching, feedback, prescreening, scheduling the interview, preparing an intake, and making client appointments.
“It’s hugely important to us that we can continuously customize and personalize our own apps as needed. If we launch a new vacancy tomorrow for which we need candidates’ shoe sizes, we also want to be able to add that input field within minutes. We looked at different options for building an app or portal. And the further down the road we got, the more we noticed that they didn’t have the flexibility and capabilities we needed. That’s how we ended up with Minggo.”
In just four weeks, the client worked with Minggo to create a candidate and client app. The various software the client uses in the recruitment process, such as the ATS, were linked for a continuous flow of information. Using Minggo’s app builder, the client added its own input fields, colors, visuals, and content. The client can tailor its apps to the precise needs of its users 24/7.
In the app, candidates can view suitable vacancies, apply for jobs, take assessments, set a date and time for a job interview, and sign contracts. In the future, candidates will also be able to submit availabilities through the app. With the client app, the client can create vacancies and get an overview of all suitable candidates with resumes or other information. He can immediately approve or reject the proposed candidates.
After 6 months the effect of the candidate and client app was measured, and it was better than expected.
What does this mean in the long run? After 3 years, the client will be able to place 40 additional starters every week, good for 2 million euros gross margin per year. With Minggo, the HR service provider has been able to automate its systems, speed up processes, and offer candidates a better experience. “We can quickly build the apps we need and respond to new opportunities as soon as they arise. There is very little time between having a new concept and bringing it into our application.”
In this case, the client remains anonymous. Want more information? Request a demo or get in touch.
