Select Group is a group of 14 brands active in HR services and project solutions in the Benelux region. Each of the 14 brands within Select Group has its own target audience, brand, and personality. Select Group aims to provide its brands with the tools and flexibility to choose what they want to digitize and to add their own personal touch.
IT profiles and students appreciate that 80% of the recruitment process is digital, but this approach doesn’t work as well for other target groups. Select Group wanted to give each brand the ability to create their own landing pages, forms, and campaigns for their audience, integrated with the ATS, Bullhorn, using Minggo.
iSTORM, a brand of Select Group specializing in IT profiles, activated nearly 5% of candidates from its database using Minggo, resulting in many additional placements.
By leveraging Bullhorn Automation and Minggo forms, they send targeted emails to verify whether candidate data is still current and to gauge their interest in new opportunities. Automatic follow-up actions are then set based on the response: if a candidate indicates they are looking for a job, iSTORM ensures they have a call with a consultant within 36 hours. If the candidate is not actively looking, the relationship is maintained through marketing actions.
This pilot project started with one brand, iSTORM, but is now being extended to other target audiences and brands within Select Group.
Additionally, Select wanted to target Young Potentials using Minggo. However, the job site wasn’t particularly appealing to young people, and setting up campaign pages was cumbersome. As a result, (social) media campaigns were set up without a clear, digital candidate experience.
With Minggo, Select creates highly attractive landing pages for young professionals, asking them questions like: “What are you looking for?” and “What challenges you?” These landing pages are then added to their social media ads, resulting in higher conversion rates.
In the next step, young professionals are presented with tailored job opportunities. If the candidate expresses interest in the job, they are automatically taken into an application flow. IT profiles and students appreciate that 80% of the recruitment process is digital, though this approach may not suit every target group. With Minggo’s landing pages, Select Group was able to showcase its brand, convert more Young Potentials, and reduce the number of candidates dropping out before they even finish the application form. The follow-up steps shorten the process from application to hire, leaving young potentials feeling well-served, which they will also share with others.
By reactivating dormant candidates, the number of available candidates increased, leading to additional placements.
Because Minggo is seamlessly integrated with Bullhorn, all data is automatically transferred into Bullhorn.
Additionally, Minggo’s flexibility and personalization options made it easy for Select to adapt the branding to different target groups and campaigns.
